YICG will be closed for 2 weeks as our commitment to safety is paramount. This may be extended beyond that time based on the COVID-19 situation.

This is clearly uncharted territory for us. We are sorry to make this decision but it is the best one to make given all we know that is happening around us.

Please contact your YICG teachers to support them in setup for remote learning. We all need to come together and construct new ways to stay engaged and productive, amidst our worry and uncertainty.

Our sessions at the Herricks Middle School cannot be extended (per the school district) so makeup classes have to be figured out. Currently we are asking our teachers to figure out what they can do with support from parents.

Our remaining Annual Events are unlikely to take place. Again, each teacher can do something small at a later date.

Your patience and consideration is most valuable. We will be regrouping over the next few weeks to layout all our choices. We will communicate as soon as we have concrete steps. Please work with your teachers and share your thoughts.

I pray that we all get through this pandemic stronger and more resilient. May you, your family and community be safe.
